Assembly Technician

San Carlos, CA


Responsibilities

  • As part of our engineering / production team, perform assembly and testing on our JuiceBox charging systems

Charging Systems Technician

San Carlos, CA


Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly and testing on a range of charging systems and products
  • Work with engineers to improve all products based on customer feedback
  • Help with all aspects of shop upkeep: packaging, cleaning, tool management and organization
  • Assist in light loading and shipping tasks
  • Effectively use electronic schematics, PCB layouts and operation manuals
  • Identify, track and drive product and service problems to resolution
  • Provide entry-level customer education and training

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in electronic assembly (including soldering)

Customer Support Representative

Responsibilities

  • Promptly and effectively respond to requests via email, phone or online media
  • Provide great customer service and relay product and service information within team
  • Identify and track product and service issues to resolution
  • Assist buying prospects by skillfully answering product and service questions
  • Maintain online product knowledge base, FAQs, videos, and other self-help tools

Lead Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Design the entire hardware system
  • End to end ownership of the hardware product – from specification to design, prototype, and manufacturing
  • Specification and sourcing of components and vendor management
  • Collaborate on architectural decisions to drive robust system design
  • Drive FCC, ESD, EMI compliance

Required Qualifications

  • BS or higher degree in Electrical Engineering with 5 years of relevant experience

Production Lead/Supervisor

San Carlos, CA


Responsibilities

  • Insure orders are fulfilled in a timely and consistently high-quality manner
  • Schedule the daily workload of production assemblers and technicians
  • Provide guidance and training to the staff to achieve throughput and quality goals
  • Insure inventory is kept up to required levels, e.g. at Amazon and other resellers
  • Report on inventory levels and ensure orders are placed in a timely fashion
  • Be facile with all elements of production in order to move in as a back-up to each production position, as needed and be able to hire and train personnel

  • 3-5 years in a production supervisory role

Supply Chain & Contract Manufacturing Manager

San Carlos, CA


Responsibilities

  • Maintain demand forecast and ongoing balance against supply chain inventory (parts, work in process, and finished goods), optimizing production scheduling to ensure company is always able to meet fulfillment and revenue goals
  • Handle communications and minor negotiations with suppliers and optimize vendor pricing, delivery dates, shipment costs
  • Create, drive approval, and coordinate all supply orders through delivery. Ensure deliveries are on time and cost optimized
  • Track inventory on site and at CMs. Optimize warehouse functions
  • Optimize logistics, e.g. scheduling, shipment dates, tracking, deliveries, shipping costs, and returns
  • Assist Director of Hardware Operations to manage Contract Manufacturers (CMs)
  • Maintain BOMs for all hardware products
  • Maintain up-to-date inventory status in our ERP / Financial software system(s), e.g. QBE
  • Document physical supply chain processes, such as workflows, cycle times, position responsibilities, or system flows
  • Collaborate with other departments, e.g. production, quality, engineering, to identify vulnerabilities and close operational gaps
  • Participate in the coordination of engineering changes, product line extensions, or new product launches to ensure orderly and timely transitions in material or production flow
  • Provide weekly key performance reports to senior management, e.g. forecast, current status, backorder items; projected lost $ sales due to backorder items; percentage of part numbers that are out of stock; cost reduction targets and achievement; inventory returns

Required Qualifications

  • Experience and passion for electric vehicles and how they can change our world for the better
  • 5+ years experience in related fields: manufacturing, logistics, accounting, ERP, inventory tracking
  • Technology background, e.g. automotive, energy, enterprise software or hardware
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Quantitative / analytical skills and proclivities
  • Self-starter, able to work quickly and adapt within a fast-moving company with many smart people
